Black Forest Smoothie with Cherries

Preparation time: 5 minutes     Serves: 1-2

2 tablespoons of jar sour cherries, drained
Handful of fresh cherries
1 tablespoon of raw cacao
1/2 frozen banana
1 tablespoon of coconut chocolate butter, such as Loving Earth
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
1 tablespoon of flaxseeds
1/2 tablespoon of chia seeds
Handful of spinach
1 cup of homemade almond milk
Dark chocolate* for garnish

1. Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth.   Serve in your most decadent glass and top with your favourite raw chocolate*.

*My recommendation is Pana Chocolate, raw, organic, handmade locally.
